Creating Space for Joy in our Cities
Dan Acher, founder of Happy City Lab, is an artivist and a social entrepreneur from Geneva focused on creating happy cities. Each of his installations and events aims to transform the way people engage both with their environment and with each other. Dan shakes up routines with daily dares and places pop-up dance floors along commuter routes to generate impromptu tangos and disco moves.
Dan studied social anthropology and management at the University of Auckland and has spent many years travelling the world and exploring various cultures. He avidly supports the rethinking of streets and squares to create happier and healthier human environments.
